Mobile Review

This site has some really good mobile reviews. It is realy quite good with also some good pictures of different mobile phones.

I am sort of interested in MotoRazor v3, then I think do I actually need a new phone ?
I guess not since MotoRazor just looks good and it dosent seem to have any additionaly J2Me APIs as compared to Nokie 6600 that I currently have.
I am mainly looking for Location Based API.

BitVise

This is an excellent site that had some really good article about port forwarding and other interesting stuff.
Moreover there 2 flagship application seem to be realyl quite good.
I have installed the client but I couldnt use it against any server, but it seems that it would help me get through what I want to do.
Ok that is another thing that I had to do when I get home today after the climbing session
1. See 'Two and a Half Guys'
2. Wash all the vessels
3. Cook food.
4. Turn off the heater since dont have water tomorrow.
5. Install, Configure and possible test Bitvise Client and server.

Article about Unwritten Law

I quite liked the animated video 'Save Me' by the group called Unwritten Law here is a nice article about them.
Even Need for Speed Underground 2 has a song by Unwritten Law - I had no idea about that.

Save Me
Had a bad day, don't talk to me,
gonna ride this out,
My little black heart, breaks apart,
with your big mouth.

And I'm sick of my sickness
Dont touch me, you'll get this.
I'm useless, lazy, perverted,
and you hate me.

You can't save me,
You can't change me,
Well I'm waiting for my wake up call,
And everything, everything's my fault.

Went to the doctor, and I asked her,
to make this stop.(whoa)
Got medication, a new addiction,
F*ken thanks a lot.

Had to relapse, I'm outta rehab,
It ruined everything.(whoa)
So point your finger, at the singer,
He's in the pharmacy.

You can't save me,
You can't change me,
Well I'm waiting for my wake up call ,
and everything's my fault.

You can't save me,
You can't blame me,
Well I'm waiting here to take a fall,
and everything, and everthing's my fault.

And I'm a death threat haven't slept yet,
Baby wide awake at dawn.
Helmet bad boy, tell the tabloids,
everything's my fault.

Whoa whoa yeah, write it write it,
Whoa whoa yeah, write it write it,
Whoa Whoa everthing's my fault,
everthing's my fault.

I went to heaven, couldn't get it,
For what I had done.
I said forsake me, you said you're crazy
you were too much fun.

You can't save me,
You can't change me,
Well I'm waiting for my wake up call ,
and everything's my fault.

You can't save me,
You can't blame me,
Well I'm waiting here to take a fall,
and everything,everthing's my fault.

You can't save me,
You can't change me,
You can't save me,
You can't change me,
You can't save me,
You can't change me,(everthing's my fault)
You can't save me,
You can't change me,

Everything's my fault.

Latest Book

I went over to pick up Chaos but then happened to look at a big fat book

The Road to Reality : A Complete Guide to the Laws of the Universe flipped through a few pages and it seemed interesting, with hundreds of diagrams and pages full of mathematical notation (was a bit scared).
The back cover talked about another book by the same author - Roger Penrose
called

The Emperor's New Mind Picked this one up instead of Chaos, I have been reading it for a couple of days and it seems quite interesting. I directly jumped to Chaper 3 - Mathematics and Reality, It talks about Fractals and complex numbers
Here is the TOC

Rock Climbing is real Fun

I just got back from a session today and it was real fun. This time I did some difficult stuff, but the last one that I did was really difficult, since I could not bridge anywhere so my arms could not get any rest. I managed to complete it with 1 stop over.

Dylan told me that I should do that again without any stop over, but the second time I could feel my arms in real stress, and I could not take the jump. I definately will be getting back to that one and completing it the next time. I was thinking about going in for a 10 min run before heading back home since I was feeling soo great after the climb, but since it would have been too late I decided to head back home. As I was walking back to the locker room I could feel my forearms tighten up.
It was realy fun, very relaxing and Whoooohoooo, I definately have to go in for another session may be thu or mon. I dont think it is avaliable on friday.

Books

Over the last month I have been reading a lot of Carl Sagan's stuff. I just finished with 'Contact' and I am almost done with 'Cosmos' and just started with 'Demon Haunted World'.

I was going to go in for Chaos over the weekend then I thought that I should wait a while before getting it, so that I can finish off other books that are in the pipeline. Chaos was suggested by Sandeep Jainandan

Google Desktop gets out of Beta

Google desktop is out of its beta state.
It also provides features like writing your own custom plugin.

Here is the Plugin Developers Guide :
http://desktop.google.com/developerguide.html

I have skim through it and it seems that as a developer I can use the Google Indexing service only using COM.

Song in Scrubs Episode 19, Season 4

I was seeing Scrubs Season 4 - Episdoe 19 and there this song that is played in the backgroung when JD is with Molly in the pub having a big drink.

Molly: It is tough making new friends....
JD: If people are not getting to know you then they are missing out.
Molly: You think so.

At that momment when JD brushes off Molly's hair there is a song playing in the background., I cant seem to find the song. Its lyrics are something like this.

..Waiting for it to crawl
I am waiting for it to break
So many answeres, So many ways..
..
Things that I want to tell you..

Ahha ... managed to get it.
I was searching for it for quite a long time on Thu but just now I happend to read a Scrubs TV forum and there was a link to Scrubs-TV, that contained all the songs played for each episode.

Even after knowing the name of the song I am not able to get the song, I managed to get the songs by Josh Radin (Closer and Winter) but the song that I was actually looking for was "Waiting For You" by Cary Brothers

I was just going through this article, it talks about how Mac users can photo blog, since Hello is only for windows.
The list of features for Flickr is really good.

GPS - Whats it all about

I was just interested in how GPS works, this site gives a very good explanation about it. I dont have the Firefox plugin with me but then to the text is really usefull.

I was having a read through and it mentions

...
If our receivers needed atomic clocks (which cost upwards of $50K to $100K) GPS would be a lame duck technology. Nobody could afford it.
...

I have never heard the term '..lame duck technology...'
